    bathroom vanity

I built this bathroom vanity with a clean, minimal look in mind, using solid white oak for the cabinet to give it warmth and durability. It features nine poplar drawers, each carefully fitted for smooth operation and a consistent reveal. Instead of traditional hardware, I went with push-to-open hidden sliders, keeping the face completely uninterrupted and modern. The combination of the natural oak grain and the seamless drawer fronts gives the piece a refined, furniture-quality feel while still being highly functional for everyday use.

I built this double bass stand from solid maple, focusing on strength, stability, and a clean, understated design. The structure is made from thick, carefully joined members that give it a sturdy, grounded feel while safely supporting the weight and shape of the instrument. I kept the form simple and functional, letting the natural color and grain of the maple stand out. The result is a durable, purpose-built piece that holds the bass securely while still looking like a well-crafted piece of furniture rather than just a utility stand.

This poker chip box I made from cherry showcases both craftsmanship and simplicity, with the wood’s warm reddish tones and subtle grain patterns giving it a refined, natural look. The sliding lid fits smoothly into place, protecting the neatly organized row of colorful chips inside while adding a satisfying, tactile element to the design. I focused on clean lines and tight joinery, letting the beauty of the cherry wood stand out without unnecessary ornamentation. Over time, the cherry will deepen in color, adding even more character to the piece and making it not just a functional storage box, but something that will age gracefully and tell its own story.

I built this pachinko stand out of Douglas fir, leaning into the wood’s strength and straight grain to create a tall, stable frame that supports the game securely. The vertical structure has a clean, almost architectural feel, with carefully fitted joints and a warm, reddish tone that brings out the character of the fir. I designed it to elevate the pachinko machine to a comfortable playing height while keeping the base wide and grounded for balance. The simple lines of the stand let the colorful game face take center stage, while the natural finish ties everything together into a cohesive, handcrafted piece that feels both functional and distinctive.

I built this fire pit stand out of Douglas fir, focusing on a sturdy, low-profile design that complements the wide steel bowl it supports. The frame features solid, well-fitted joinery at each corner, giving it both strength and a handcrafted look, while the natural grain and warm tone of the fir add a welcoming, rustic feel. I kept the proportions balanced so it sits firmly on the ground, creating a stable base for the fire pit while maintaining an open, airy structure beneath. I built this bass guitar from solid alder blanks, shaping the body for a balanced feel and a clean, classic profile. After dialing in the contours and smoothing everything out, I finished it in a deep black paint that gives it a sharp, understated look while letting the hardware stand out. I wired the electronics myself, carefully setting up the pickups, controls, and switch for reliable performance and a versatile range of tones. The end result is a solid, no-nonsense instrument that feels great in hand and delivers exactly what I built it for.
