I built this small cabinet out of birch, focusing on clean lines and a warm, natural finish that highlights the wood’s subtle grain. The design balances simplicity and craftsmanship, with sturdy joinery at the corners and a smooth, solid top that gives it a grounded presence. The front features a pair of paneled doors below and a slatted section above, adding both visual interest and ventilation. I took care to sand everything to a soft, even touch and applied a finish that enhances the light honey tones of the birch while protecting it for everyday use.
