pachinko stand
I built this pachinko stand out of Douglas fir, leaning into the wood’s strength and straight grain to create a tall, stable frame that supports the game securely. The vertical structure has a clean, almost architectural feel, with carefully fitted joints and a warm, reddish tone that brings out the character of the fir. I designed it to elevate the pachinko machine to a comfortable playing height while keeping the base wide and grounded for balance. The simple lines of the stand let the colorful game face take center stage, while the natural finish ties everything together into a cohesive, handcrafted piece that feels both functional and distinctive.
